Second Marmaris Seafood Festival held in Selimiye
The festival, organised by Marmaris Municipality, ran in Selimiye from 2 to 4 October. The three days had chef shows, seafood stalls and concerts; on the last day there was yoga and paddleboarding at Sığ Liman.
The festival opened on Friday 2 October on the Selimiye waterfront, with Marmaris mayor Acar Ünlü at the opening. Chefs Ramazan Narman, Tufan Keser and Medet Erbaş cooked seafood live, and stalls with seafood and local products lined the waterfront.
The programme included concerts by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality City Orchestra and Serkan Oktay, and zeybek and folk dance shows. On the last day there was yoga and paddleboarding at Sığ Liman, and a cardiologist and a dietitian spoke about seafood and health. The festival closed with a concert by Batuhan Şaraplı.
