The 70 EUR is collected in Turkish lira at the Central Bank’s effective selling rate on the day of payment.
The amounts are worked out as one third of the tariff in the law. They may differ by a few kuruş when collected.
The licence is issued for 1 to 5 years. For more than one year the charge is the yearly amount multiplied by the number of years.
Fractions of a metre are ignored when the length is set: 12.40 m counts as 12 m. In this estimate each band includes its lower limit, as harbour master offices show in their charge tables: 10 m falls in the “10 m to 15 m” band.
